Airtel Partners Ericsson on 5G Technology; Ericsson Demonstrates 5G Technology in India

Swedish telecommunication gear maker Ericsson weekday same it’s partnered with Bharti Airtel for 5G technology for the telecommunication giant’s in India operations.

“We have MoUs (agreements) with 36 operators globally. In India, we’ve got recently involved with Bharti Airtel for 5G technology,” Ericsson Senior vice chairman and Head of Market space South East Asia, Oceania and India Nunzio Mirtillo told reporters in Indian capital.

He, however, failed to inquire into the money details of the partnership.

As a part of the partnership with Airtel, Ericsson can work with Bharti Airtel on making a strategic roadmap for evolution of the network to the next-gen 5G technology, Mirtillo same.

Ericsson is already a marketer to Bharti Airtel in areas like managed services and 4G.

Earlier this year, Bharti Airtel had inked an identical written agreement with telecommunication gear maker Nokia to expand their partnership to areas like 5G technology customary and management of connected devices.

Ericsson weekday showcased the primary live 5G end-to-end demonstration here mistreatment its 5G work and 5G NR Radio. This, Ericsson claimed, has Associate in Nursing “extremely high turnout and ultra-low latency”.
