Goa government signs upset Google Republic of India to market digital skill

 

The state government on Wed signed a note of understanding with Google Republic of India to market digital skill and drive the digital transformation within the state.

 

Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar and vice chairman, Google South East Asia and Republic of India Rajan Anandan signed the MoU here.

 

“As a primary step, the state government can launch web safety education for college kids in association with Google Republic of India,” Parsekar same. it’ll be a region of program for categories ninth to twelfth within the government colleges.

“Google has created a program in consultation with specialists. Google Republic of India has initiated teacher trainings and it’ll presently expand to hide 460 colleges, teaching over eighty,000 students a way to keep safe on-line,” Parsekar same.

 

The scope of this tie-up with Google are enlarged to launch a digital skill drive for girls and introduce programmes to assist the little and medium businesses and a mobile app development skilling programme for start-ups, he said.

 

“This step are a turning purpose within the field of knowledge technology in state. it is important that students perceive a way to use the net responsibly and keep safe on-line,” he said.
