At least 5 robots at a welfare centre in China’s Zhejiang province inform one,300 older to require their drugs.
“The average age of those seniors is over eighty four,” Zhao Huming, vice director of the centre, told Xinhua on weekday, adding that the robots were programmed to “remember” medication schedules for seniors and home employees.
They send messages to prompt them once it’s time to require the pills.
The robots were developed by Woosiyuan telecommunication Technology Co. Ltd. and ar in trial operation.
The “A-Tie” robots, whose name virtually means that “iron”, ar controlled by movable app or bit screens, and may do rather more than prompt patients to require their drugs.
